Jackson Family Wines is searching for a candidate to carry out work assignments that result in professional upscale landscaping. This position is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all landscaped areas on assigned company property.

- Follow and observe all safe landscaping practices.
- Maintain all landscaping, which includes weeding and removal of dead plants, pruning of trees, shrubs and perennials, mowing, blowing leaves and debris, etc.
- Establish new planting as instructed by Landscape Foreman or Landscape Manager.
- Prepare soil for planting.
- Operate equipment such as: power & riding mowers, hedger, chainsaw, debris blower, hand tools, etc.
- Assist with maintenance of landscape systems, which include digging, installing irrigation pipe and/or labor on other landscape construction projects.
- Operate water timing systems.
- Apply fertilizers to enhance growth, and any other duties as assigned by the
- Landscape Foreman and/or Landscape Manager.
- 1+ year of landscaping experience.
- Knowledge and ability to operate all landscaping equipment.
- Must be able to follow verbal instructions and have strong attention to detail.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and lift and carry up to 60 lbs. repeatedly.
- Willingness to be trained and enhance knowledge in assigned duties
- Must be able to work any overtime as needed.
- A valid California Drivers License required.
- This position will require a physical and drug screening.
Pay Range:
$17.45- $20.29- $23.13 Per Hour
