This role will focus on leading the digital content strategy for a newly established ecommerce website: as well as assigned wine brands. The Digital Content Manager will serve as the lead for content development and work with key stakeholders across marketing and sales to develop and execute an effective digital content strategy that drives awareness and conversion. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining best practices for the development and implementation of content across a fast-paced digital environment.



• Proactively identify opportunities to grow’s business and/or audiences across digital platforms
• Maintain content calendar across touchpoints— website, email, social media, digital advertising, search, etc.— to align with key promotions, seasonal holidays, inventory, and site functionality
• Establish a workflow for creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content on; working with Interaction Design and Development team to execute when necessary
• Oversee the proper usage of brand standards across content, tone and voice + design
• Manage the Digital Content Specialist/Copywriter to develop compelling copy across digital channels
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to deliver high-quality assets in multiple visual and written formats
• Ensures all content is optimized for search, user experience, and intended goals (awareness, engagement, conversion) across all channels of content
• Lead strategic integration of content, UX design, and analytics
• Track, analyze, and optimize content based on both quantitative and qualitative insights


• Digital native with deep experience across multiple platforms and technologies
• Understanding of technology, processes, and solutions around user experience, SEO, site analytics, design, and development disciplines.
MUST HAVE:  Experience with or functional knowledge of the following platforms:
- Web development and CMS tools such as Drupal, HTML, WordPress, etc.
- E-Mail marketing such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Advertising tools such as Google Ad Suite
- Analytics platforms such as PowerBI and Google Analytics
• Experience producing data reports via data analytics— both detailed and executive-level
• Comfortable analyzing data to drive decisions and optimize content based on goals
• Willingness to stay current with changes + ability to adapt quickly to advancements in new technology and evolving platform requirements
• Creative and innovative thinker with analytical mindset, ability to understand how to apply data and insights to strategy to help drive results and identify opportunities
• Proven experience with consumer products or consumer-oriented marketing campaigns—planning, creating, editing, and publishing quality content that speaks to multiple audiences/target demographics
• Understanding of the wine industry: how wine is made, marketed, and sold


• Must have at least 3+ years in a digital, ecommerce-based role
• Strong leader that possess vision to understand trends in digital, ecommerce sales
• Collaborative spirit with a positive, forward-thinking attitude and ability to roll up your sleeves
• A desire to own a project from beginning to end, with a strong sense of pride
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Can multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail
