Title: Digital Commerce Content Associate Manager

Reports to: Digital Commerce Director

 

Position Purpose

The individual in this role will develop, test, and deploy digital content for Jackson Family Wines omni-channel and pure play customers including but not limited to Albertson’s, Walmart, Kroger, Target, Total Wine & More, Amazon, Instacart, Drizly, Independent Retailers, and Wholesale Partners. This role will manage the eCommerce product catalog and the system responsible for all eCommerce content distribution, Salsify. In partnership with Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing and Digital Commerce Managers this individual will help to ensure a strong and strategic content experience that supports JFW’s objective of being the leader in Premium Wine eCommerce sales. The right person for this role will blend both creative and analytical skills to improve the shopper experience, ultimately increasing conversions.

 

Responsibilities:

Website Merchandising: Ensuring a Best in Class Digital Shelf

Content Management

  • Serve as liaison between various eCommerce contacts, team counterparts and internal support team members to foster culture of growth and collaboration

 

Content Creation

  • In partnership with Brand Marketing and Trade Marketing, and Creative Services, develop above and below the fold content for all JFW wines, for pure play and omni channel customers. Upload all content to the PIM system for syndication
  • Champion content development for hero SKUs within channel. Bring new ideas to drive conversion based on best-in-class industry practice
  • Utilize the Creative Team to generate Digital Assets that are missing, needed, or otherwise could be utilized on the three-tier PDPs

Analytics Support 

  • Develop a Content Health Scorecard specific to individual major accounts, overall grocery, and specialty channels
  • Continuously monitor site bugs related to product and content displayed and report in real-time. Continuous site proofing and troubleshooting
  • Fix identified content and search related issues, including diagnosis of root cause

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • General understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript and other programming languages and types. General understanding of digital terminology with ability to hold a conversation with technically skilled peers.
  • Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail and proofing skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to analyze data and seek to understand shopper behavior and measure KPIs
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and react to changes in business trends
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills required, including ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Able to work in a fast paced, evolving environment
  • Desire to work in a team-based setting yet also able to work and act independently

 

Position Qualifications

Experience

  • 2-3 years in eCommerce required (in the areas of eCommerce content, merchandising or marketing), preferably within a CPG environment
  • Working knowledge of Salsify PXM
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel skills required. Adobe Suite preferred.
  • Experience utilizing various eCommerce analytic and insights tools such as Google Analytics, Content Analytics and Salsify Insights
  • Experience working across multiple eCommerce channels (Omni, Pureplay, and C2C) preferred

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree required

Limited travel. 4-5 times per year
