Jackson Family Wines is a family-owned company based in Santa Rosa, California.  We oversee all the wine production and marketing for the Jackson family, including such well-known wine brands as Kendall-Jackson, La Crema, Murphy-Goode, Matanzas Creek, Cardinale, Stonestreet, Verite, Arrowood, Freemark Abbey, Cambria, and Byron.  The family owns thousands of acres of prime vineyard land in California, as well as wineries and vineyards in Oregon, Australia, Chile, France, Italy, and South Africa.  The family also owns many other wine industry businesses, including a barrel maker, and distribution companies.

We are looking to add a bilingual (English/ Spanish) Recruiter who is a talented, motivated, and driven individual to our dynamic Human Resources Talent Acquisition team.  This role will primarily support our Production Operations (Winery and Vineyards) teams.  A successful candidate is someone who is well-connected within the local community, is inquisitive and people-oriented and adept at building lasting relationships.  The Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of the process, including: screening, interviewing, testing, scheduling and pre-employment processing.

What You Will Do

  • Build and establish community relationships and help identify new sourcing strategies/outlets to build candidate pools
  • Manage online content/profiles on various job boards and sites and identify opportunities to improve online presence
  • Pre-screen and conduct phone interviews with candidates
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for out-of-town candidates
  • Process and track candidate background checks
  • Coordinate the scheduling of drug screening and medical/physical examinations
  • Generate Offers of Employment letters
  • Provide a positive candidate experience and hiring manager experienc

  • Bilingual - Spanish/English

  • Connections to local schools/ colleges
  • Corporate Recruiting Experience
  • Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting concepts
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems
  • Experience managing demands, accepting criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible
  • Skilled in quickly learning systems, processes, and procedures
  • Previous vineyard/ winery recruiting experience is a BIG plus, but not required
