Associate Brand Manager

We are seeking a motivated and high-achieving Associate Brand Manager candidate to join the dynamic International brand marketing team at Jackson Family Wines.  The Associate Brand Manager position is an important leadership role that partners with the brand team, VP Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute the business and marketing strategies for a collection of wineries.

Essential Job Functions:

 

  • Partner with Brand Managers and VP Marketing to develop long-term and annual business and marketing plans
  • Support the brand team in managing supply, inventory, pricing, and sales forecasts
  • Analyze business and provide actionable insights as to what is driving performance. Make recommendations based on analysis.
  • Manage the marketing budget, for designated brands
  • Manage the designated brands’ websites and social media marketing platforms
  • Collaborate with brand team and Public Relations to develop and implement strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and define brand projects and manage through completion
  • Partner with Sales to develop effective tools to drive distribution and velocity
  • Lead creative development and execution of packaging and consumer/trade materials
  • Track, analyze and report on monthly business results
  • Lead cross-functional teams
  • Identify and recommend business-building initiatives to senior management
  • Coach and develop team members

 

 

Background Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, finance or related; MBA preferred
  • 4-6 years of CPG or Beverage Brand Management or consulting experience
  • Strong and consistent track record of driving business results, preferably in a wine company
  • Experience working with international wineries beneficial
  • Previous P&L management experience
  • Project management and development experience
  • Strategic planning knowledge
  • Track record of creative program development and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and build team relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with executional excellence
  • Advanced understanding of various pricing strategies across multiple markets and channels
  • Digital and Social Media Marketing competence
  • Ability to create, identify and leverage consumer insights (IRI, internal sales, demographics, consumer attitudes, usage)
  • Strong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
