Scope of Position:

This position will operate a Semi-Truck that is part of a private and for-hire fleet designated to haul primarily Kendall Jackson freight and/or bulk wine.

This position is responsible for a variety of indoor and outdoor tasks in the

cellar such as operating crush and press equipment, stacking barrels,

operating a forklift, filling barrels and topping wine. This position is under

the general direction of the Cellarmaster, Winemaker, and Cellar

Foreperson.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Jackson Family Wines Grower Relations team is seeking an individual who will help monitor and ensure best vineyard practices for premium wine grape production, and who seeks to gain more experience with viticulture and wine grape harvest.

This position is a temporary assignment during the Vineyard Harvest Season, generally beginning mid-May and must be available to work through end of October or early November.

Troubleshoot, repair and service agricultural equipment and vehicles without supervision:

•       Gasoline, propane and Diesel engines.
•       Fuel systems
•       Electrical systems
•       Chassis and brake systems
•       Drive train systems

A Tractor Driver must be able to operate any Tractor and/or ATV safely and properly.  A tractor driver must maintain all of his equipment and/or implements in a clean and operational manner.  He must also take excellent care of all  vineyard property and maintaining a safe and quality based approach while working around all personnel.
