Internship Dates: Week of June 19, 2017 – Week of August 14, 2017
Note: Candidates must be a junior or senior enrolled in a 4-year college or university and be able to work 40 hours a week during the entire 9 week period.
We are seeking a summer intern for our Bottling Line/Production team!
Working with the VP of Production and Logistics and the Director of Bottling, this internship will teach the bottling operations from a mechanical perspective and make recommendations related to 3 specific bottling processes.
- Observe, communicate and collaborate with on site operators, bottling supervisors, and mechanics to understand the change-over process for line 2. 45%
- Observe, communicate and collaborate with on site operators, bottling supervisors, and mechanics to understand the down-time issues with each piece of equipment on line 2. 45%
- Analyze the self-inflicted Major and Minor defects and how the process contributes to these defects. 10%
There will be some pre-work before arriving to the facility related to reading equipment manuals to understand the basic operation of the machines.
Requirement: Qualified candidates will have experience with mechanical equipment and understanding of process. There are many related disciplines that can qualify including automotive, farming, manufacturing, IT process writing, just to name a few.
The process will take 9 weeks from start for finish. A final presentation to the SVP of Production along with two VP’s of Production will conclude the internship.
